Genealogy Society of Appanoose County
The Appanoose County Genealogy Society collection is housed at the Drake Public Library.
The genealogy section – including a mircofilm reader, features family histories, local plat maps, historic phone directories, school yearbooks from area schools, and miscellaneous histories of ghost towns.
The Appanoose County Genealogical Society meets:
When: The first Sunday of every month April thru October
Time: 2 p.m.
Where: Research Room at the Appanoose County Historical and Coal Mining Museum
