The City of Centerville is home to three wonderful parks, perfect for outdoor fun, relaxation, and community gatherings. We invite you to explore these spaces and create lasting memories with family and friends!
Morgan Cline Park
Located on West Lane Street, Morgan Cline Park is Centerville’s largest and most popular recreational space. Whether you're looking to cool off at the City Pool, enjoy a picnic under one of seven shelter houses, or let the kids burn off energy on the playground equipment, there’s something for everyone. The park also features restroom facilities and tennis courts, making it a great destination for a full day of activities.
Morgan Cline Family Sports Complex
Located at 22851 217th Ave, the Morgan Cline Family Sports Complex is Centerville’s go-to destination for athletic events and community sports.
🏟️ Facilities Include:
- Two Ball Fields – Perfect for baseball and softball games.
- Three Basketball Courts – Shoot hoops and enjoy a game with friends.
- Six Soccer Fields – Home to local teams and exciting soccer tournaments throughout the season.
- Concession Stands – Grab a snack and refuel between games.
Mini-Parks – Small but Mighty!
In addition to Morgan Cline Park, Centerville has two Mini-Parks, each offering a unique space for play and recreation:
North Mini-Park – Located between 4th and 6th on Madison, North Mini-Park is a fantastic spot for families and sports enthusiasts! This inviting community park features playground equipment, making it a fun and safe space for children in the neighborhood.
For those looking to get active, the park is home to three lighted pickleball courts, perfect for an evening match or a friendly game with friends. A picnic shelter provides a great place to relax, enjoy a meal, or take a break between games.
- South Mini-Park – Located at the corner of Cottage and S. 21st Street. A great place to shoot some hoops, this park includes a basketball court for those looking to practice their game or enjoy a friendly match.
Shelter House Reservations
Planning a picnic, birthday party, or family gathering? Shelter houses are available for reservation from Memorial Day through Labor Day each year.
- Fee: $15.00
- Refundable Deposit: $50.00 (returned upon verification of cleanup)
- How to Reserve: Call Centerville City Hall at (641) 437-4339. Your name will be posted on the shelter on your reserved day.
Park Rules & Reminders
To keep our parks safe and enjoyable for everyone, please remember:
✅ Park Hours: Open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
🚫 No Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in any City of Centerville park.
📞 Report Issues: If you witness vandalism or misuse of park facilities, please report it to the Law Center at (641) 437-7100.
