The City of Centerville, Iowa, is hereby soliciting statements of qualifications and experience from qualified human resource and executive search consultants to recruit a Fire/EMS Chief. The City anticipates completing the Fire/EMS Chief recruitment process no later than March 2025 to ensure coverage of the position due to the planned retirement of the current Chief in April 2025.
The anticipated scope of the project may include, but is not limited to:
- Reviewing current Position Descriptions to ensure they meet City needs.
- Advertising of Position and Recruitment of Applicants
- Facility Applicant Interviews with Council and City Administrator
- Conducting Applicant Background Investigation
